Minkwon Center NJ actively supports policies and bills which can protect and empower immigrant communities throughout the state in advocacy of supporting the most marginalized immigrant communities which includes low-income families, mixed status families and undocumented individuals, 1st generation individuals and more.

  1. Go to District Map on the New Jersey Legislature website

  2. Enter your address

  3. Click "See District Details"

  4. You will be taken to a page titled "Legislative Roster which will list your State Senator and two State Assemblymembers 

  5. Click on each legislator's name

  6. On each legislator's page, you will find information including which Committees they sit on, which bills they sponsored, and how they've voted on bills. You will also find their office address, phone number, and can send a message by clicking on "Contact Your Legislator."

A4987 Current Status: Referred to Assembly Oversight, Reform, and Federal Relations Committee (10/24/2024)

S3672/A4987 will limit New Jersey’s involvement in the federal detention and deportation system by creating new data privacy protections for people who interact with state and local agencies, and by strengthening and codifying the separation between local law enforcement and federal immigration enforcement.

NJ Voter Empowerment Act: S3009/A4083
