The MinKwon Center launched a cash assistance program to help undocumented Korean Americans who are facing serious economic hardship due to Covid-19. As a part of of this effort, the MinKwon Center conducted a survey to understand the realities and hardships by conducting a research survey with over 1,500 respondents; the first study in NYC of undocumented Koreans of this kind and scale. This report presents the survey’s key findings, including detailed information, on housing status, jobs and income level, and other social and economic difficulties and needs.
